Katy Perry and Russell Brand in India

According to DNA India, Rugged comedian Russell Brand and chart topper Katy Perry will tie the metaphorical and literal knot in a Hindu style ceremony at the luxurious Taj Rambagh Palace hotel this October 23.

The week long party will start 3 days before the wedding. The couple will be flying out 85 friends and family on a private jet to the Taj Rambagh Palace hotel where they got engaged on New Year’s Eve.  Before the ceremony, the couple will take their lucky wedding party out for a tiger safari during a three-day stay at Rajasthan wilderness camp, the Aman-i-Khas, on the border of Ranthambore National Park.

Rihanna has confirmed that she will be visiting India later this month to attend friend Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell Brand.  “I am going,” Rihanna told ET. “It is in India. I am excited about that because I have never been there. I am just excited to see her get married. I am excited to see her dress. She won’t tell me what it is.” Besides Rihanna, other celebrities invited include Taylor Swift, Jonathan Ross, David Walliams and Noel Gallagher.
